Probably because I previously lived in Japan, I’m still obsessed with their school-girl look – a mini skirt with flat loafers and a jacket that hides the figure. This look was inspired by that.
I picked up the black high neck top (this one would work well too) and faux suede skort from Zara. That’s right. It looks like a miniskirt in front but it’s actually a pair of shorts. And of course, black tights. It is an extremely flattering outfit for short people like me, to make your legs look longer. Although this outfit works extremely well with heels, I love to slip on a pair of DKNY loafers with it. They have the softest material that makes them so comfortable to walk in. The design is highlighted by the pearl embedments on the heels. I paired the outfit with a Massimo Dutti checked jacket for a classy look and put on my Finder’s coat when it was cold out.
